Codenames

The new edition of Codenames refreshes the classic game players love. Featuring a revised word list, beautiful art, an organized game insert, and a streamlined rulebook, this version delights longtime fans and welcomes newcomers.

Two rival spymasters know the secret identities of 25 agents. Their teammates only know the agents by codenames — single words like "chocolate," "sunflower," or "carrot." Each spymaster gives one-word clues followed by a number to guide their team to identify all agents first, without revealing the assassin.

Lay out 25 cards, consult the key card showing each team's agents, and take turns giving clues. Correct guesses let teammates keep going. Wrong guesses — picking an opponent's agent, innocent bystander, or assassin — end the turn or the game.

Strategy, communication, and clever clues make every round unforgettable.
